Who Tries Facebook Recipes? ME!

So this week, my easy go-to recipe was a shrimp dish. I saw a post that called for something like:

Melted butter in a baking pan, didn't specify amount
1 cut-up lemon, also in the pan
Fresh shrimp - didn't specify amount
Italian seasoning
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

My altered version of this was:

1 stick melted butter in aforementioned pan
2 lemons, cut up, and spread around pan
Frozen and thawed shrimp, no tails ( I hate when restaurants leave tails on shrimp. I never do.)
Italian Seasoning
Bake 350° until it looks and smells right.

Here are the results:

I paired it with a side salad of baby spinach, grape tomatoes, fat free feta, and a homemade balsamic and a bowl of fresh strawberries. It was a hit!

I think it would have benefited from deviled eggs.

Also, the recipe would be lovely with alternating citrus and spices. Lemon garlic. Pineapple ginger. Different meat?

I can't wait to play with recipe in 2014.

Love,

Andrea, Steve, & family
